
The Federation of Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES) is a group of private Mexican institutions, which aims to improve communication and collaboration of these with each other and with other educational institutions of the country, respecting the specific objectives of each, so that its members can better fulfill the responsibility to serve the nation.
The FIMPES brings together the leading private universities in Mexico.
It was established 32 years ago in 1982.
The first accreditation was granted in 1994.
It is a private non-profit and free affiliate.
It consists of 113 institutions of higher education.
