According to WENR Mexico has seen a huge increase in the demand for tertiary education which has led to a rise in number of private universities in the last two decades to fulfil that demand. Coupled with the recent education reforms that have boosted technical education in Mexico, which have allowed students to engage in training whilst completing their studies means that more than 36.35%  (UNESCO Country report) of the student population enrolled in Tertiary education.

To address these trends the organisers of GESS Mexico, through speaking to members of the teaching community have developed the International Conference Programme to cover core issues such as: Vocational, STEAM, EdTech, Leadership and Innovation. Taking place over all three days, the conference is free of charge for educationalists to attend and brings together engaging industry leaders from around the world and influential local practitioners to present a combination of inspirational talks and dynamic, hands-on workshops.

“Mexico currently spends 5.4% of their GDP on education*, which is 16th out of all OECD countries and with more than 28.22millino students in the education system, the 4th edition of GESS Mexico is timely and represents a unique opportunity in this area of the world.” said Jonnie Wicks, Event Director of the GESS brand. “As well as core conference topics around the concept of “Bright Ideas” we will be working closely with key associations and partners to bring key buyers to the event and also through our new business matchmaking initiative exhibitors will be able to meet buyers from the top states in Mexico.”

The Conference Program offers educationalists exposure to the latest innovations in educational products and services, as well as live demonstrations from global market leaders. With a range of international and local exhibitors and brands, the event provides a unique opportunity for educationalists to meet and find new products and services, and discuss a range of topics about education and its future.
